Favorita is an ancient white grape with similar origins to Vermentino. From the 19th century until the early 1900s it was much prized, in distinguished circles, primarily as a table grape. Vinification of Favorita as a single varietal is first mentioned in books of the Counts of Roero in 1676. It produces fresh, mineral wines with good acidity.

Vinification: traditional with the grapes lightly crushed, de-stemmed and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for 8/10 days.
Ageing: two months in stainless steel vats and one month in the bottle.
Notes: straw yellow in colour with delicate, fresh and elegant bouquet of citrus and fruits and good acidity.
Serving Suggestion: as an aperitif or with light dishes or fresh cheese.
Serving temperature: 10°C
