Dolcetto d’Alba DOC
Campo Giachino
The black Dolcetto grape is native to Piemonte and first recorded in 1593. It is early maturing, usually around the second week of September.
Although the name derives from the particular sweetness of the grape flesh, the wines it produces are always dry or very dry, with modest acidity and a pleasant bitter aftertaste. Dolcetto produces soft, fresh versatile wines for everyday drinking with a variety of different foods.
